Foreign student Expo has been completed!

" International student EXPO ", which was held for two days on December 4th (Saturday) and 5th (Sunday) has finished successfully.

About 1,000 international students of Kansai Universities and Language schools gathered at the event, which was focused on main four themes: Learning, Living, Working, and Having Fun.
At the venue students had a chance to consult with companies on difficulties and problems of living in Japan related to visa, employment and housing. Besides, they enjoyed activities of experiencing Japanese culture.

While most of the students showed interest for ordinary employment opportunities, some of the students were impressed that there was a way to have an employment path to Japanese traditional craftsmanship.

Compared to the November exhibition, the booth space was limited and we couldn't display all the products. Still, we distributed many pamphlets of those Japanese traditional craftsmen and local industries who have an agreement with us.

Here we would like to introduce the products once again.

「八泉-Eight Fountainsis a service provided by Senju Co., Ltd., which allows foreigners to create their Kanji name with meaning to their liking, and also accept orders for stainless steel cut-out character accessories.

While we were not able to sell products at this event, our exhibits allowed visitors to see and feel Japan crafts. It was a good chance for students to familiarize with Japanese crats, so many of them thought that it was a good idea to buy them as souvenirs.
By participating in this exhibition, we felt a significancy of delivering wonderful Japanese traditional craftsmanship and manufacturing to people all over the world, both in Japan and overseas.

We would like to thank everyone who came to visit us and cooperated with us.

In addition to our main company activity of supporting foreigners and international students to find or change jobs, we will also continue to expand Japanese traditional craftsman and local industries both domestically and internationally as part of Washoku Division.
